Throughout his training career, Dr. Davis has been involved in a multitude of studies reaching the status of peer-reviewed publication. As a community orthopedic surgeon, it can be difficult to stay up on the current literature. Additionally, without standard research resources, continued publication or participation in the academic literature may be difficult. However, with continued interest and the growth of PCOM and its student core, Dr. Davis hopes to remain involved in literature publication in his practice. Dr. Davis held a Lunch & Learn in October 2021 where he gave a presentation about the Mako Surgical Robot and the benefits of having a robot-assisted knee replacement. Colquitt Regional is the only hospital in South Georgia to utilize the Mako Surgical Robot.
